Highland Bridge October 2022 Housing Construction Updates

Since our last update, the Highland Bridge site has opened and members of the public are welcome to enjoy the parks and central water feature. The Uŋčí Makhá Park opening event was held on August 9, and Gateway Park opened to the public in July. Also, most roadways are now accessible to the public.

The Collection at Highland Bridge Apartments

The Collection at Highland Bridge by Weidner Apartment Homes is open, and residents are moving in! The community offers studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom homes. The new Lunds & Byerlys also opened in late September to rave reviews. Leasing is underway and interested parties may visit The Collection website for more information or to make an appointment with leasing staff.

Custom Homes

In September, a Highland Bridge custom homes open house was held. Attendees toured the custom home sites and met some of our preferred builders and designers. Visit the Custom Homes website to learn more!

Marvella Senior Living

Presbyterian Homes is planning for Marvella residents to begin moving in later this year! Connected by an enclosed pedestrian bridge, the two buildings will have 300 senior living units and are progressing rapidly.   Leasing is underway and interested parties may find out more information via Presbyterian Homes’ website or by visiting their leasing office in the Highland Shopping Center in Saint Paul.

CommonBond Communities Apartments

Construction on the CommonBond Communities apartments for seniors has started. The 60-unit senior housing community, The Lumin, will provide another affordable housing option in Saint Paul. Leasing and wait lists are not yet underway and will be managed by CommonBond Communities as construction progresses.

Rowhomes

Construction of the rowhomes by Pulte continues at an exciting pace, with the first residents having moved in at the end of September. Four models with varying floor plans are open for tours on site.

Project for Pride in Living Apartments

Work continues with the Project for Pride in Living, with construction anticipated to start in late 2022 on Restoring Waters with 60 affordable housing units for women in the Emma Norton program. Leasing and wait lists are not yet underway and will be managed by Emma Norton as construction progresses.

Condominiums

There are no condominium buildings planned at this time for Highland Bridge.  If condominiums become available in the future, we will provide updates via the housing interest lists.

Medical Office Building

In addition to the housing being developed on site, a 60,000 SF medical office building is under construction and is planned to open in March 2023 with M Health Fairview as an anchor tenant.
